Wow, This week has been a little crazy, a lot of unexpected things have happened.
First, There actually were changes.
In the email we received last Monday it said that Elder Castro and I were going to keep working together, but when we went to district meeting in the night the Zone leaders told us that there actually were changes. Elder Castro is now in Sicuani, and I now have a new companion: Elder Tandazo.
Elder Tandazo is really great!! He is quiet and humble, but an amazing obedient missionary. I am so excited to work with him! I think that we will work well together, and that we will have a lot of success together. We have been thinking of different things that we can do to help the ward, and I feel that we will be able to make a big difference this change.
Great Changes in the Mission
The Area has had a lot of problems with Visas for the missionaries from Central America. Because of these problems, the Peruvian Government has given the area (not only our mission, but all of Peru) 3 days to get all of the illegal Central Americans out of the country. This means that 8 missionaries from our mission are being changed to other missions. It is really sad, because a lot of great missionaries are being sent to other missions. Elder Vanegas, Our Zone Leader is one of them. He left at 8 this morning, and he is headed to the Quito Ecuador Mission. It is sad, and thanks to this there are a lot of random quick changes in the mission. It is possible that my district gets changed... we´ll see.
I love you all!!! The work is moving forward in this little part of Zion!
