Yesterday, after church, we went to take the sacrament to an older lady of the Ward (rupertina). We knocked on the door, and waited (it takes her a while to get to the door). While we were waiting, Another lady (Julia) came up to us in the street.
"Excuse Me, are you Pastors?" She Asked
"Yes, yes we are, how can we help you?" We responded.
"Well, My dad is really sick, and I wonder if you could come and give him a blessing"
"We would love to! We are about to give a blessing here, but could you wait for like 5 minutes?"
We went and gave the Sacrament to Rupertina, and when we came out Julia was still waiting for us. She brought us to the house of her dad (WAY up the hill. I`ve never gone that far up in our sector). On the way, she explained to us that she attends another church (I don`t remember which), and that three weeks in a row she has asked her Pastor to come and give her dad a blessing. But He "was busy," and couldn`t go.
We went and gave a blessing to both her dad and her sister-in-law. Her dad was sick, and his stomach wasn`t accepting food, and her sister-in-law hit her head hard a while back and was left blind. The spirit was so strong in their house, and they have so much faith. The agreed to listen to the gospel and come to church.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to have this great experience. I know that God is preparing people to receive his gospel, and that he guides them to his missionaries.
