First Week of the Mission!!!

Hola Familia y amigos!!
First things first, If you want to write me, PLEASE use I only get 30 minutes to email, and that includes reading emails I receive. Once I get to the actual mission field, emails will be great, but here in the MTC use Dear Elder. I get the letters the same day!
Sorry that P-Day is Thursday! It has been more than a week that I've been here, but it is OK.
The MTC is great!! The closest thing that I could compare it to is a super well organized Education Week. When I first got here, I left Mom and Dad and Immediately went into a building with an assembly line of new missionaries. Here they gave me my books, name tags, and a bunch of information like where my residence hall is and where my classroom is. after that I got to go put my luggage in my room and then go straight to my first class.
My Companion is Elder Ricky Roy Cooper. He is from Salem, UT, and he is AMAZING! We are both going to the Cusco Peru Mission along with one other elder in our district. The rest of our district are going to other missions in Peru. My companion has a great desire to serve the lord with all of his heart, might, mind and strength. It is great to have someone who can encourage me to be the best missionary that I can be. We get along great, and are already great friends. My district is also great. I think that I got really lucky :).
In class, our teacher (Hermano Lund) ONLY speaks Spanish!!! At first I was super overwhelmed and didn't know what to think, but by the end of the first class I was actually understanding him!! Now, a week later, I understand probably 90-95% of what he says. The Gift of Tongues is REAL! I never thought that I would learn Spanish this fast. I still can't speak super well, but I can understand SOO much! Hermano Lund is an amazing teacher. Somehow he is able to bring the spirit into our classes and teach with the language of the spirit so that we can understand him even though he is speaking Spanish. When I see Hermano Lund, I think of Tyson and the time that he spent teaching in the MTC. I am so thankful for my teacher, and I am sure Tyson changed many missionaries lives for the better.
Oh, I have a story. The very first time that I went into my room, it was disgusting!!! The elders that were in the room with us kept it SOOOO dirty. There were clothes all over the place, and Candy and garbage everywhere. Both Elder Cooper and I were super surprised. What made it worse, is that our roommates weren't just dirty, but also disobedient!! they came in late every night, woke up late every morning, and they were just plain irreverent. When the Elders left this Monday, Elder Cooper and I cleaned the room and we are trying hard to be 100% obedient. I can definitely feel the difference. The spirit had a hard time being in our room for the first little while. I am actually grateful to Heavenly Father for giving me disobedient roommates for 4 days, because now I know That I want to be 100% obedient!!!
Oh, We actually get to teach an investigator in Spanish!!!! He really works at the MTC and is acting, but it is as if he is OUR investigator. His name is Joti. He is from Chile, and works at burger king. His girlfriend Gabby (a member) referred him to the missionaries. He is really interested in Families, and loves Jesus Christ!! Last lesson, he committed to baptism and prayed out loud with us!!!!!!!! It is such an amazing feeling!!!! If there is anything that I have learned here the first week, it is that we, as missionaries need to love our investigators!
Well, I'm out of time. Write me (!!!
